Done is better than perfect

Like most creatives, I'm probably a bit too much of a perfectionist.

I care too much about what people think, and how people will judge my work. At the start of this year, I decided I would choose momentum over perfection.

That means sharing music even if it’s not flawless. Launching this site even if it’s not fully polished. And posting thoughts like this before I overthink them. I’d rather build momentum than wait for things to be “ready.”

I’ve been producing music under the name Hyax for over a decade. It’s been a while since I shared anything publicly, but this felt like the right moment to start again.
